I'm a cat person, but I just love this little guy! Ok, you gals are going to make me try cards now, right? This looks like something I could actually accomplish. Thanks soooo much for telling us how you did it, Anna! Hugs, Marji

sorry forgot to add this one is from emblibrary and between the fabric and stabilizer there is batting. this gives it a nice quilted look. thanks to all who gave me flowers for it, flowers reciprocated ***

Awe, not much of a dog person, but must say this is CUTE! Question: How did you do it? Fab on battin n stitch then cut away edges n fame inside card? Do you make your own cards or buy them with the windows? *'s4U

yes I stitched it on fabric and batting, cut the fabric with about an inch frame around design and measured a piece of cardstock, folded that in two and stuck the design on it. finally I made a border from the rose paper and stuck that as to hide the edges of the fabric. bit complicated but not hard to do.... I am known for complicating stuff - dad always says if there's an easy and a hard way I choose always the hard one lol. flowers for you

Thank you for replying. That is not difficult at all. That is basically how I did the card for my sis, except added batting after the stitching. *4U

Joanie in this case you have to put the batting between the fabric and the stabilizer. everything is hooped and when design is finished it looks sort of quilted. emblibrary and stitchahalf have some very nice trapunto designs if you don't have any yet and they are really quick to stitch.

OK, I must go try this one now then.. This type of card, that is. I must, I must, I must.. I'm on my way to emblibrary and stitchahalf. Easier than trying to find the designs I already have. hehehe Thank you again Anna.
