Here's the stitch out of this design (also on the projects page) I had a little trouble with the tension it took me a few tries to tweek it into it's happy place. Also needs a wee bit more clean up by me on the edges. I used a layer of mylar sandwiched in between sheer white organza (to give it more body). Stitched out beautifully, I think I will make these for Xmas ornaments for people I work with, I work in a local pharmacy on Whidbey.
That looks fabulous! I just found out that my friend on the island is moving to Idaho, but I think I'll still make her one of these.
Thank you for the Whidbey Island, is there any possibility of filling it in so that I could make earrings for all my friends at Whidbey Island? Thank you so much!

I have not mastered FSL yet, so all I can suggest is to use mylar or angelina fiber underneath the applique to make them lighweight enough for earring, but they will be huge earring.....how about making them necklaces???
Thank you so much for the Whidbey Island ornament, we lived there for twenty years and I can't wait to play this out. Thank you.

OMGee...thank you! We are going to Whidbey Island next weekend to visit friends! Thank you.
This is another lovely ornament, Vicki. Thank you!! I must admit though that before today, I'd never heard of it. It sounds like a lovely island. Maybe someday we'll all go there to visit faerynut! :)
I couldn't believe it when I saw this. We lived in WA years ago (loved it and miss it), and I now have a friend who lives on the Island. She will be so surprised when I send her this for Christmas! Thank you so much!
Thank you so much. I am going to have to google it to find out where it is, smile. The lessons continue.
Thank you so much! I really appreciate the time and effort you have put into designing these. I sort of live in between the W & I on the red satin stitch on the left hand side of the island.
