I have used it. Mine is called Sulky Solar. Made a dress for one of my granddaughters, white on white indoors, 4 pastel colours (blue, pink, yellow and green) in the sun. It stated colour numbers only, so I put them in the window sill before stitching.
dlonna, I'd never heard of it, so phoned my dealer and asked her. She hadn't heard of it either - but because yesterday I phoned her to ask about *glow in the dark* thread, which she'd never heard of either - she really thinks that I'm having a *double* lend of her today. I can't convince her that I'm making a serious request, haha!!! Such is life girls, have a fun day. Hugs and flowers for you dlonna sweetie.
Something to think about with this thread. We had a sewing buddy getting married, and she made her own gown. She stitched delicate embroidery on the bodice with this thread. The reception was held outside, and of course, the bodice of the dress then showed different colors. Very interesting.
Never heard of it but would like to try it. Where do you get the thread
I bought it at shooper's rule - got a very good price, and still have a lot of thread left. Enough to try again.
I just received an order today from Shoppers rule. I bought a small amount(5 sheets) of Wash-away-Puffy-Felt for $4.48. It is 3/8 in. thick. Instructions say to place on top of embroidery item and stitch. Wash item and it is water soluble, leaving a three dimensional look. Have you ever used it?
Never used it, but do have it. Saw it used on poinsetta for Christmas and they were beautiful.
We took a family trip to Hawaii and I made shirts for each grandchild with Florida and a true florida icon. It sews out as tone on tone, but when subjected to sunlight changes colors. I got this from RA at shopper's rule, and have had fun with it. Give it a try.
