Since yesterday or the day before, each time I try to download a design, the computer opens up my embroidery software and then I can save the design. This process is real pain. It's the only sites where I have this issue so far. Any suggestions?

I have that also since several days.If I choose the format PES, my embroidery software is open directly, and I cannot choose anything else, but if I choose HUS, I have the choice between open and download as before. I do not understand why???

One option: Change your browser options to ask you what you want to do with the file, at the moment it's opening the file (in the software you or someone else chose) rather than just dl'g the file. In firefox its tools - options - general tab, select "always ask me where to save files". It will be similar in IE. You might need to check on the filetypes, and choose that (for example) pes isnt set to open embird (example program chosen). If it is set to open the program, change it to always ask. :) xXx

Not happening with me, but the download changed since I installed Explorer 9, but it changed with every site. I also couldn't do my banking. Had to use Firefox.
