Okay lets see if this helps. I your I see you have the disc for SewIconz if it is an older version or if you changed computers and the your old coputer was say windows Xp and your new computer is Windows 7 you will need to download SewIconz for windows 7. Even if you have the same version of windows on your new computer when you installed SewIconz did you click on the formats and all in the box for the program for it to show they have updated SewIconz over the last year once or twice and you updates are free. So be sure and check with the web site and ask for help. They are the greatest to do so. Steve or the ladies there are great to get you going. They will assist you in upgrading and getting the right version for you computer. I use Firefox and have no problem with it and my emb stuff. Hope this helps. Sara
Hi Sarah, I have had a frustrating day, but I don't like anything beating me. I have tried so many thing then Uninstalled anything to do with SewIconz and then reinstalled it and also upgraded it and now everything is working again. Have also installed M Firefox and love it. I am in Heaven. Thanks
Maybe: If you right click on your icons you can click "open with" and that will allow you to choose, open them with your usual program instead of the one it automatically wants you to.

Google chrome love it!! far better than IE or Firefox, although I have firefox too but don't like it near as much as google chrome!!!
Have just downloaded Firefox and Chrome so if I am not happy with Firefox I will look at Chrome. Thanks anyhow.
BEWARE!
Chrome scans your computer for any unregistered programs and COULD report them.
I had a huge problem with a very old, discontinued program, that was originally registered but now, after many computer and Windows upgrades, it shows as being unlicensed because I cannot re-register it when it is reinstalled after each upgrade.
Microsoft no longer supports it or even recognises it!
When I installed CHROME to try it, every time I opened it, it told me I had unlicensed programs and did I wish to register them, so I couldn't get passed that screen to even try the browser.
I had to remove it.
BTW, my pc technician had warned me about Chrome before, but I had to see for myself.
Now this may have changed if they received enough complaints, but I won't be trying it again any time soon to find out.
Hugs and roses, Meganne
Thankyou for the warning. At the moment M Firefox is much faster than any others I have used.
That should have nothing to do with it. I use IE and Firefox as browsers and both work.
Go to the page here, and join the yahoo group. Steve, the author of the software, is an active participant, and will help you with your problem. I had one, and he personally called me and talked me through it. It's a constantly evolving set of software, and the people on the group help immensely.

Hi Lyn - I use Google Chrome and have had success with it since the beginning. It gives a bigger screen space and is reliable, simple and easy to instal and use.
What browser were you using before you changed to IE??
AlmaG.
Hi Alma, When I first got the computer I had Internet Explorer. Hated it so went to Netscape. They then changed to Flock and had no problems. Flock said they would fold on the 26th April so I quickly went back to IE. Why I will never know. L
Sorry about all your problems Lyn. I only ever use MOZILLA FIREFOX. I, too, like Jo won't use Internet Explorer ever again. I just love it love Chris
Have just installed Mozilla Firefox. When the other Browser was closing they suggested Chrome or Mozilla Firefox.
Be sure to check the view in your tool bar and make sure you have thumbnails checked. I don't know if this is your problem but I use IE and have SewIconz. Never had a problem.
