Thank you, one and all, you were a great help. I found what I needed. It would have been sad if I had missed the last letter in a set. We have been setting up a wireless connection for the computer in my sewing room. I had some problems with my favorites list. I think I have them all back now. Thanks again, you are wonderful!
I downloaded 2 alpha's from Eddy Designs in crosstitch, one with a dog and one with a cat. They look very nice. Hope this is the one you are looking for. *4U
I have loved Eddy for a long time. I find out it was Jennysembroidery.com/ tmbache reminded me of the site. I found another very good site with a similar name while looking. Thanks for the help
Thanks for bringing this up, freida, I downloaded the alphabet (and 2 others as well). I did not try cross stitch till I saw some of the projects here. Wonderful to get so much information and so may tips.
Oh, I forgot. There's a towel on page 43 of the projects. I think that's the one you were referring to. It's by Vermillion.
Freida, could you be talking about Eddy Designs? They have a free dog & a free cat alpha in cross stitch? She has a lot of beautiful cross stitch. You have to e-mail her for prices, though, because she's still monkeying around with getting PayPal set up & having problems with it, I guess. As with the others, if this isn't the one, you'll at least have fun looking, her x stitch is wonderful! Marji
Thanks it was Jennysembroidery.com There are several complete free alphabets availabe with just one click. Hope she gets past that problem soon.
There is 3 on Jennysembroidey-don't recall them on a black background though. Also, freida, did you try Ann The Gran? She has a handful of alpha plus many many many other freebies. Enjoy here: http://annthegran.com/FreeDesigns...
I have been using Ann the Gran for years. i can type her link with my eyes closed. Problem with the one i am wanting is I can't remember it's name.
I just did a search thru "www.search4designs.com" (which is totally free) and came up with this site so far: http://www.geocities.com/Heartlan...
Hang in there freida, I'm sure someone will be able to help you sweetie, hugs and a flower for you.
It was before bookmarks became available here. Most of the designs were on black back grounds which made them really stand out. I have gone over and over my downloads and my favorites bookmarks. Just can't turn it up. I reall would appreciate some help. Thanks for the help.
