Need to make a "card pocket" to insert a business card on a garment bag for a friend. Would like to "applique" a rectangle of clear plastic with one side open but don't know how. Any ideas? TIA!

Hi Ladybug, What is the size you need? I'll be glad to make the design for you, it should be just a quick little applique. You can Pm me. Jan

This link might give you an idea.

Really I think it's easy to just sew straight stitch or zig zag around 3 sides and you're done.

Thanks! Great site!!! I agree about just sewing it on....but thought the machine applique would look nicer. Also considering making bi-fold tape to frame/attach it.

download that design and see how it stitches out - maybe from that stitch out - you can figure out what to do on your own.

Thanks for the response....I did exactly that and I'm tickled with the instructions that came with it! I'm sort of new to machine embroidery (although TOTALLY ADDICTED :) ...and this has answered a number of questions I had!
