Born & lived in Upland for 7yrs, moved to Washington for 7yrs. Love camping and all outdoor sports, so our move to Arizona (where I remain for last 33yrs, husband's choice not mine for most of those years)left me craving real trees and the lovely rivers, lakes & streams. I would give my left arm to live in the snow country again!!! An envious flower to you!

Welcome zootsa! I am also a mother of 2 boys, grandmother of six (4 girls and 2 boys). My husband also bought me my embroidery machine as a surprise a couple of Christmas's ago. He just beams every time I start stitching and comments on how happy he is that he finally found something I just love. Of course I always love what he gets me but this was very special and a BIG surprise. Have fun and come back often. You will learn so much here and can always ask any question. I came to the site for a long time but never asked any questions but learned so much. Finally a question came up I just had to have explained further. :) Everyone here is so sweet and very helpful. The free designs are georgeous. Vist ithe bookmark section too, you will really be hooked to come back for more. Don't forget to share your designs on the projects page. I'm in the West Phoenix Area. I do bookkeeping for a Custom home builder in San Clemente. I work online & travel to CA to reconcile books with them about once every 3months (quarterly). I have the best boss ever! My husband I were treated to a Baja Cruise this past summer as a gift while I recovered from wrist surgery!!

Hi nice to meet you. I'm sure you will love visiting here just as much as i do.Every one is so friendly and there are a few that give you a laugh and a few that can wipe a tear away a few with great advice and many that will love you.Some that will correct you if you are wong but only to kepp you safe from the copyright cops but still many to love you. and All have a heart and an addiction that you are now a part of especially as you sew the beaute designs that are here and if you dare to click on the Bookmarks tag at the top on the blue line rightwhere it says new. ps. And there a few like me who have been on line for so long that they can't spell the words or push the wrong key by mistake and can't be bothered to change it as they have to download another design or change a thread on their machine.
