Cuties -- I am very sorry if I offended anyone, including jess45, by my postings of the freebies at Nicole's Designs. I honestly thought I was doing a service to all interested Cuties by listing them. There are so many freebies on Nicole's wonderful site, that I didn't want anyone to miss them. If you were upset by my posts for just 1 designer, I am sorry.

I was checking and Jess45 does say "Thank You" for posting a site with free designs. Buuuttt the odd thing is that it is always for the same site. Repeatedly over and over thank you for posting free designs (just like you did) but only for this same Russian site. Hhhmmmm sounds rather fishy to me, Jess45 you are busted LOL.

I had checked this out a couple of days ago and found the same thing. Could not work this out except maybe needs JEF format, not all DL have JEF format. This post needs to be "put to bed" so it can get lost in the posts. Marg

I am with the majority. Keep on posting and if one person does not like it they can just go pound sand. If it were the owner of the site that would be another matter but as far as I can see that is not the case. Keep us the good work and don't let one negative comment get you down. Thanks for all your hard work.

I thought your list was very helpful & saved (underline that!) me time that I would have spent looking at all the categories. Just remember that no one was forcing her to look at them. Thanks and anytime you find another good site, hope you will share it, too.

How on earth can a person consider posting a list of designs SPAM! No one is hindering anyone from 'evaluating and individual site' by posting a list. I know I posted a few in the past. There are a number of lists of designs that a good many of us would have missed in the lists. I have seen so many designs from so many designers that are so good that I plan to go back and see what others that designer might have that are not 'free'. Some people just are looking for freebies and others are on a limited budget these days and want to see how the designs stitch out on their particular machine.
The message from jess45 doesn't even make sense. Almost like perhaps someone may have been consuming something in excess before writing it. Please continue to post the design lists. You are a sweetheart for helping busy people see the various types of designs Nicole has. I know I want her Scotty designs that sewmom was so kind to point out to me but it wasn't for sale that I know of. Thanks again for all your valuable time and effort in making those lists. They are appreciated by more people then you will ever know.

Please continue to post. Everyone one is free to read the posts that interest them No one should discourage others just because the post is of no interest to them. There is no reason for you to apologize to anyone. Play nice prople, or take your toys out of the sandbox.

Marion, I've looked at each and every one of your posts and I am sincerely thankful to you. I had never even known Nicole existed before you posted your first list! Please don't leave. To be honest, what is the difference between posting one link to a freebie and posting a few links? Take no notice of people like jess45, if she doesn't like it, she can skip over your post.

I will never understand why folk have to be so mean.

I really appreciate your postings. In fact, these freebie postings lead me to sites that I may never find for myself and I have often bought designs from these sites. That's why the designers put up freebies - to get you to go to their sites and also to try out the quality of their digitizing, hoping that it will lead to a sale.

I believe posts like yours actually benefit the designers as each link leads to a design set which can be seen whilst looking for the freebie. I bet a lot of us have bought designs whilst on the sites.

Keep up the good work.

I rarely make comment, due to my busy lifestyle not that I do not wish to converse with the cuties, as I find this site one of the most caring and sharing sites I have come across, I appreciate the effort that is put in by others such as yourself, as it is a great help to the ones of us that do not have the time to do the research. I hope one day to be able to return the favour. Please do not stop what you are doing, this site is about sharing and I for one have a problem understanding why some people have a problem with sharing. It is not about what you share it is about the fact that you are sharing your knowledge and research and saving others time reinventing the wheel. Thank you so much.

The only thing I can figure is that some prefer that you list those under the freebies tab but to tell you the truth, I forget to go look there and you gave me some nice new designs when you posted those! I thought SPAM was an unwanted email that you can block out. Posting freebie sites or designs on a site that you have to log into and search for isn't SPAM in my understanding. I am very greatful for your postings. I collect many free designs and love them. Please don't stop posting the free sites .

It does hurt twice as much when someone is trying to do good.
Out with the negative people and in with the posative.

If she doesn't like it noone is forcing her to come here. That sort of person does their best to spoil it for everyone else. You come across them in the yahoo groups as well.

I think some people forget that this is a free site..design postings in DBC and postings under the freebies tabs are done so out of the desire of some other Cutie to share something that they have done or that they have found and want to share.. Sorry... I have finally decided to speak my mind !!!! And I think I am going to post most of this statement in public post..I am to the point that I think I am going to move on from this site.. there is just to many people that do nothing but complain... about freebie posts, about designs that don't have the proper grammar, or about older posts coming to the top of some sections... I have seen several cutes do the same thing. I see nothing wrong with what you did. I do however take issue with the way Jess45 treated you. Those who post freebies, whether its 1 or 30 save most of us a ton of time we don't have to look for all these. When I check them I read the discriptions and decide which sites I want to go to. For instance I am not fond of cross stich, and FSL scares me, but others love them. So I am happy that someone takes the time to share the freebies they find no matter what the form. i know how you feel, all I did was post a pic of a quilt I made and BAM I was slammed with ridicule about licensed designs, stealing etc, when all the designs were freebies I collected over a 2 year period. Ignore and keep doin what your doin, you can't please everybody and I know it only takes one to break your heart, it did mine, but the rest of us love ya just like you are......

I saw a message accusing someone of stealing the designs. These people haven't a clue as to where the designs come from and they just make assumptions which are way off the mark.
I don't know where these people get the idea they have the god given right to police sites like this.

I, for one, appreciated all your efforts. You put a lot of work into getting those links up for us Cuties. Now, you got 1 (one) bad response and you have all these wonderful responses. Who are you going to believe? :-)

I also dont look at freebies often due to a lack of time. I also went to look and you are doing a brilliant job, I feel exactly as Caroldann does. Your work is appreciated by very many so for the majority keep up your seeking and posting of the freebies

Love your posts. Be it one designer or a hundred. Jess45 need to get a life .. apparently nothing better to do but to find things to complain about....GO CATSNHORSES!

Even if I didn't use the freebies at the moment I know how much work it is to make those lists. I think there are also nice and polite newbies here around who are happy about your work and help. Cause of this I had to write some replies to the comments of this lady. Who is she that she speaks of "our community" and "hindering us from doing it". She never had my permission to write for me neither in such a disrespectful way!

When I started here some about 3 years ago I was just reading and were happy about every free design and about the nice and friendly chatting between all the cuties. Even today I hold back if I have another opinion (okay 2x times I did not ;o) and go to the next post. No need to be rude! Don't think that we need spitfires here at Cute. I always think that we are such a lucky community with so many members from so different countries and I hope that will stay this way :o)

I agree with the other comments;also,one site does not limit us to one link. Others have made lists of links and have not been accosted in this way. Perhaps she meant that she had already mentioned the site and did not want others to mention it the same day. No big deal, really- we appreciate your efforts and hers as well. I love your lists - I never knew there were so many designs out there until I came here. I have been a member of 5 different sites for several years - so it is good to see someone else's free stuff. I was a memmber of Digitizers Friend, Sick, Designs by Denise, Sweet Embroidery, and now Cute EMbroidery.
This is by far the Best - I love the friendship here - so please do not let anyone upset you - let's all be friends !!! Thank you for all you do and thank you for all the new friends I have met and enjoyed. Your projects and posts are all good!!!
