Hey Cuties! Heard of a software that will open multiple Zip files at a time and extract only the format and text info you want...Can't remember the name...anyone know of such a program?

Sewwhatpro and embird will do that. I myself use BuzzTools. Carol

Deduper I believe will do this, it may be an add on feature if you already have the program. I have Buzz Tool and use it for that.

Embroidery Deduper does all this and a lot more - lots of options. Also will eliminate duplicate files ( if you want) as the name implies. Not free, it is $3x.xx as I recall. You can set it to save one or more formats, and it will also save your next preference of format if your preferred one is not in the zip. You can Google it, or I will find the reference in the morning - it is way past my bedtime and I was just sneaking a quick peek here before turning in. Hugs and *, Lois

Is it BuzzTools? I looked at it and I think it does that.

Embird will open multiple Zip or Rar files at one time. You can set a filter to SHOW only one format, that can be moved to another folder, and the original can then be deleted.

Is this done in the Manager side of Embird? I do not have Embird Studio. New to Embird, where is the "filter" to set to SHOW? Sorry I'm so dense!

you can do that with the WinZip, there are probably many other ones, but that's what I have...Good luck in your search.***

I have WinZip...but it only opens one file at a time and I have to delete the formats that I don't want. Am I missing something on how to operate WinZip?

That's the way mine works too. I have to delete what I don't want. Maybe mariahail can enlighten us?
