Here's the stitchout of the FSL Angel from http://www.designsandbearstoo.com... that just about made me pull my hair out and almost gave my poor ole Brother PC-8500 a heart attack! He clanged and banged the entire time while stitching this Angel. She is verrrrrrrrry dense and stitches on top of stitches to the point I was so frustrated by the time she finished I highly doubt if I'll ever stitch her again. The long jump stitches and short jump stitches made me crazy and I had to keep stopping to clip'em so they wouldn't show and distort the design. I know FSL needs to be fairly dense, but she was overkill! She has almost 38,000 stitches and is about 5x5, emboidery time 84 minutes that was over 2 hours due to jumps and thread breaks. I didn't do the writing because I just couldn't take anymore, and neither could my machine. Whew what a strangely digitized design!! I've contacted the digitizer with my findings and questions about the design. The set she is part of has the same Angel with different sayings, that I thought might be nice for different occasions, and was thinking about purchasing the entire set. But after stitching this one, I don't think my Brother or I could handle any more!! After I took her picture, I just had to giggle at the grief she caused to be an Angel and came to the conclusion, she's wearing a bra of roses! LOL

If anyone else stitches her, I would love to hear about your stitching experience with her.

I certainly learned a lesson with this one for sure. I have other FLS designs that are high count stitches and the person digitizing did a fantastic job!!

Sorry you had to repair your machine and it's not worth a repair bill for me to try this design again.

i am trying it right now .I made it size 6.75x5.09 carolyn

Yep, I'm gonna keep her for me. As a reminder of how hard me and my Brother had to work!! LOL
I'm happy your stitchin' her and anxious to see how she stitches for you since you enlarged her. In the set there is a smaller than the 5x5, but if it's as dense and the one I stitched, I wouldn't even try it!
Good luck and hope you still have your hair when you're finished! LOL
Huggs!! and *4u

maryann, so sorry you had so much trouble with such a cute angel - but anything that is that dense and takes that long to stitch out with that many jump stitches - isn't worth the time - even though she is cute. Thanks for the info on the design and designer.

I agree, she's not worth the time and frustration to try again!! I just think of how many goodies I could have been stitchin' while I was messing with her! LOL
And your welcome, I just don't want to hurt the digitizer, but wanted to share what happened to me with the design.
