I am happy to report that it was only one breast mastectomy that my sister has had. The 'shadows' in the other are not thought to be serious.
It is very heartbreaking to see your baby sister suffering, although bravely, through this drastic treatment.
She is being supported by her loving DH and 3 children. They are all being marvelous.
The first checkup on the stitches and drainage is scheduled for Tuesday.
Thanks to all for your continued Prayers of support.
Hugs Bev
Praying for your sister, It sounds as though she is very brave.
Yesterday, was a bad day! till out my back door I saw the most beautiful rainbow also with a second faded one, and I know, they were brought about by all your wonderful prayers. I waited the day out, peacefully after that.
Today I received a call, my sister is home and doing okay. She tells me not to worry so, and she is most positive and in not much pain.
Will visit her next Wednesday and stay for a while.
God Bless each of you for your loving, caring and continued prayers for her recovery.
Hugs from Bev
I think maybe you needed the prayers as much as your sis bev. Glad she is doing ok & will continue to pray for complete recovery./Lillian
