My granddaughters are 5 and 7 yrs old. I hope this text stuff goes out of style before they start communicating that way. Things phase so quickly. Do you remember CV radio( is that what we called it?) with the truckers looking for Smokey's and knowing each other by our handles
Lbrow, I think it's cute you can keep up with your grandchildren. More than I could do, if I had them, I'm sure. I have a BA in English, and I think I'm genetically incapable of purposly misspelling words, hee hee hee. But you go, girl! If that's what it takes to communicate with the young'uns, go for it. Just make sure they don't think that's how you *really* spell the words, eeeesh! Marji
I am not sure I understand all, however I am so happy that you are here with us. H.*.

I see you are very updated with younger's way of writing. I confess I did'nt. My compliments!
It is something what you can learn from your Gkds!
Ain't that the truth lol. All my growing up days Ain't was not used lol now you hear everything
I can make out what you wrote down, but I must confess I sometimes miss the point. Even more so in my own language, silly enough. So I'm the one sending lengthy text messages and taking ages do work out what my kids are sending me.
When u get to be my age mops (70) You often miss the point with the younger generation but I keep trying & have fun trying even though the kids lol at me I love them
