It's so wonderful to help others in need. Your machine will understand and WELCOME you back with open arms! ;D *2U
Yes, it is very rewarding to serve others. I may have forgotten how to use my machine.
God's blessings for you and those who have been
helping those in need.
What if you went to wal mart or some where and talked to them to see if they would donate some blankets and put there names on them?
I haven't thought about that! Do you think they would really do that? Thanks for the idea!

Jane, it does sound like yu have been busy with what you needed to do and now will be extra busy with your work for blankets and quilts - I think the rag quilt is the quick and fast - using the right fabric you will not need batting - will be down - once you do the ragging after stitching. It is the only way that I have done quilting - so I can't help any other way. But embroidery on them would make it longer - but would be ever so sweet to do, if you felt you could manage that.
Thanks Shirlene, did you make this one? It looks good. Where do I find the directions for a rag quilt? How many layers do you use? I'll see if I can do some of those.
