Thanks kkcoqle for the directions. I also printed them out as I just made up my own as I went along years ago.
Placemat purses are very nice. Self lined depending upon the one you used. I made one years ago but didn't have the embroidery machine. So now I need to make another one because the embroidery is such a nice addition.
Thank you for the instructions. Can't wait to try this purse. It's sew cute.
Here is the link, for those that can't follow what is being said here.
Thanks for the directions I have printed them a the photoe of bags for future reference ***4 U
Now after seeing the purse from kkoqle and we mustn't forget the ones that babyred did too, (she did ones out of one "AND" out of two placemats), I must pick out a few place mats next time at Dollarama and try one myself. Thank you both for pics and instructions... gr8 inst's there kkcogle. *s4both
I am sorry I missed the one from babyred. I will try to find it in projects. Thank you for the heads up Hugs and flowers for all.
You are SO welcome! I just hope you or anyone else can follow them!! lol It's pretty straight forward and once you get the outside and the lining sewed up at the sides and the bottom corners done, it just fits right together so nice! Fold the top of the lining down...pin on the handles and closure...sew on the band to hide it all...sew the button on and wa-la! Now...why couldn't I make the original insturctions this short?!?!?!? lol Anyhow...have fun with these, which I'm calling my "SCOOTER" purses!!
For those curious minds who want to know this is in reference to a bag made from a placement in the projects area. It's quite ingenious and pretty!;)
