THERE IS A NICE ROLLED HEM ATTACHMENT YOU CAN BUY FOR WHATEVER KIND OF MACHINE YOU HAVE .I HAVE AN AJUSTABLE ONE THAT GOES FROM 0TO 1 INCH OR SO . I LOVE IT AS IT HAS MANY USES AND IT WAS LIKE $15. DOLLARS CAROLYN
you can "whip stitch" it which is a narrow zig zag on the edge do a trial first
You can use a narrow satin stitch that is close together. Works Ok. Suzanne
The only thing you can do is turn and stitch close to the edge,,,trim excess and turn and stitch again. I don't think there is a stitch on a regular machine that will do a rolled hem.
Bernadette, Sew Doctor is right. There is no rolled hem stitch on a regular sewing machine but there is a rolled hem foot.It works really well. I used this to make the rolled hem and then sewed it down on the edge of some narrow lace. It came out really nice for a wedding. Kathy
