If there are usualy 9 or 12 Blocks on a Quilt ie 3 x 3 = 9 or 4 x 4 = 12 Why may I ask are sets done in 10 you either leave one design out which I hate being the devil that says eeny meeny miny moe your unlucky out you go! or repeat 2 of the designs twice is this logical???? Hugs Shazells

You can add an alternate block to get your quilt to the size you want. But, yes, that has been a question of mine too. And then you come across as set that has 11 blocks. Figure that one out. I, myself, would prefer them to come in sets of 12. Great question!

That is frustrating, but I always add something to offset the other designs, or find another design that will go along with the theme. Hugs, Judy

I think Embroidery sets are not all meant to be on quilt squares. But, you can mirror a couple and also change the colors. I'd bet no one (well, very few) will notice that they are the same.;)

You are so right, mirror it and change colours and hardly anybody notices.

Mops, I agree as I have been on some of the clipart sites and they do come in packs of 10 a lot....I had wondered this when I first got on here, then thought it was an emb. site not a quilting site....haha.

Ah One of my favorite sites is Charming Station they are quilter friendly and sell most of their sets in 12 which is perfect. Sewswell is another who often sell in sets of 12. But yes I often have to add another couple squares, sometimes I mirror one or two hoping it looks a little different and put it away from the other, hugs Lisa

Quite a number of clipart sites sell their clipart in sets of 10, so the embroideries come in sets of 10 too.
But I agree, sets of 9, 12 (for a 3x4 quilt) or 16 (for a 4x4) would be nice. However, you could make a 5 x 4 quilt if you alternate the embroidered squares with patch or solid print blocks in a chess board pattern.

Maybe some of us digitisers can only work out the cost of our designs in metric numbers.
10 x $4 = $40
10 x $2 = $20,
or whatever the individual cost just add a zero... $2 becomes $20
$6 becomes $60,
no that's too much I'd better only charge $3 or $30 for the set.
yep, that'll work.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi Shaz,

What you could always do is put it on the back of the quilt as a label. Or make another couple to even it out, by the way 4x4 = 16! ha ha he he!!! I am thinking you had a mind blank! Love and blessings Chris

Greetings, Bettina

Sorry Bettina, it was one of the first pics I got and didn't know about enlarging in those days. It says something along the lines of The Sun Bonnet Babies lived or loved can't read the words. Love Chris
