Hi everyone, I have a new Bernina and I need to know what format cuteembroidery designs are first digitized in. This is so I can get my machine to recognize it well, not just as a D grade design

What do you mean by grade D and Grade A design? Is that a term only for Bernina machines. I never heard of that.

I have a bernina 165 artista and it uses ART format

My bernina uses .ART and I have never had a problem, but I don't know what initial digitizing is. There are more than 1 digitizer, so I would guess there are multiple designs. My machine always grades all of these as a A design. Welcome and glad that you are here! I think you will love these designs. Be sure and look at the banner after you click on Alphabets and get the free design there, too. ;)

my new Berina is a 640. I know it uses exp format and I do have Embird to convert but from what some other girls have said If I use a format that has been converted more than once I wont be able to play with it on the machine
so I would love to know what these designs were in originally. Then I will buy that format and convert myself

I have a Bernette Deco 500 for Bernina and I use PES format that is what was recomended. When you want to convert a design from one design to a PES format on the drop down bit for PES is says for these brands - Deco,Brother, Babylock (PES) this is the format.Sandra H
