crowe , I have done several with no problems, If you are unsure. do as Loretta suggested , on fabric but, the cardstock works well if you don't make to dense. A flower for you.

crowe, I have made many of them, especally at Christmas and birthday's. No trouble except with to dense of a design, but they do have designs that are made for cards, too. You could purchase those and hopefully not have trouble. *4U

crowe, if you are worried about stitching on card stock, do you work on a piece of cotton and then paste it on the card stock. But a design that isn't too dense would work well on card stock, something like redwork, toile or an outline. A flower for you.

I saw a great tip that said to do your test sewouts and use them as your cards. You wouldn't actually sew on card stock, but would insert the test design. I thought it was a good idea. (I use mine in a notebook to sell from) ;)

Haven't tryed doing so yet. But have seen some real nice one done at a craft fair. Just don't use the real dense design cause they will make a hole like, cut tham self out where the design was. good luck!! warm hugs and flowers to you both

I have not done this, but go into projects and look at some of the ones that have been posted by others. I download the directions from Emblibrary and have plans to try this.
