To US Cutes effected by the sweltering heat - please take care. Heat waves are the #1 cause of weather related deaths. Not floods, tornadoes, nor hurricanes, but heat. So stay cool and sew! ☺

It is hot! Here in KY been in mid 90's. Hoping it'll get down in the 80's next week. Still not as bad as being in Florida. The humidity is terrible there. Taking your advice and staying cool and sewing!

Wish I could take my own advice - my house is "on the market" and all my sewing stuff is packed away.... I'm going through withdraw! Realtor thinks all my projects are "clutter".

I'm at work where the men like it to be 68° inside. I have a jacket on. But it's going outside to go home that's the killer. What a shock to be almost 30° hotter all at once. I'd prefer to be home and warm.

Blow the heat to the north please. It is in the 60s here. And I am glad that my Cute friends are staying well hydrated and in AC.

Thanks for the reminder. Here in SE Texas we have already had a few days over 100 degrees with 98% humidity. I do my yardwork early in the morning so I am inside by 10am. Charla

Very hot and expecting rain in Ohio today. I stay in air conditioned during the day and sit out on the patio in the evening, I come in when the mosquitoes start bothering me.

yep we are hitting the 100 degree mark today here in Rhode Island. We have had 90's the last two days. Heat wave. Don't forget to drink a lot of water and please don't forget the pets! Make sure they are in and have water too. Suzanne

Thank you; we have temperatures up to 100 today; that's unusual for Virginia.
