My husband made this barn sign for my quilt building and wanted to get it up before the kids got here in July. We need to paint my building but it'll have to wait until it cools off.

You have a whole barn for your sewing? I have a corner in one of the bedrooms. I'm jealous.

I've gone from the dining room table to an enclosed porch to this. Something I've looked forward to for several years. I love it!

What a great barn sign. I love seeing these on barns and building. Just don't see them much anymore. They really do get your attention. Tell your husband we think he did a great job! Reva

Your DH did a great job! I have a barn that could use one of these. LOL On second thought I could use a "quilt building" too! Now, that would be wonderful! Is the quilt building your studio or a shop? *4U

Thank you so much. It's my studio...my playroom for embroidery, quilting and sewing. My husband built it to keep me from getting bored and keep me at home in the country. hehehe

Love it. Is there a name for this quilt square?

For the life of me I can't remember the actual name...the star part is variable star. I can't remember what it's called, if anything, with the added blocks going through it.

Appropriate red, white, and blue sign for July. Your DH did a good job. What color will you pick for your building color?

Thank you! Not sure on the building color just yet. Will wait to the weather cools down before we do any painting. Got a bit to decide :-).

You said a mouthful there! I'm here every day. This is even where I go after church instead of to the cabin. We usually only hit the cabin for lunch and supper. :-)
