Looks like you've done it again. Even though many of us may do it that way already....we didn't get it out there to others like you did! Way to go!
Congrats Shirlene. That's the way I always do it and it works well, especially having the screw off the table. Great to have it published. Now go and have another beautiful design!!
CONGRATULATIONS SHIRLENE!!! Well done, it's great to get recognised for your efforts. Love and blessings Chris
I am so glad they publish your tip. Now treat yourself.
Great tip! I just hooped some terry cloth your way. It worked great - I usually have to fight with it! Thanks!!!
Congratulations Shirlene! another great tip, Interestingly enough this was the way I was taught by my Embroidery dealer. Cindy B
congrats!!!! I always do that just seemed easier to slide that 1 edge off the table than to pick the whole thing up. But very good for others who didn't know!!!!
I never really thought about the way I hoop but I think I do this almost everytime without thinking. Expecially the part about off the table but mine was to keep the screw from making a dent in my table when I pushed the last corner into the hoop. lol
I saw your Tip of the day this morning. I always check there to see if another cutie has been chosen. Congratulations and keep them coming.

Been hooping that way with the wooden hoops for hand cross-stitch for years so that is what I did with the embroidery machine hoop when I got one. There have been a lot of questions regarding hooping problems so your tip should help those that struggle with hooping. Congratulations!!!
Congrats Shirlene. This is the way I always do my hoops. I am sure a lot of new beginners will be glad to get this tip.
From Shirlene: Are you having trouble with your hooping? Try making sure that the screw side of your hoop is the last edge that you insert, keeping the inside hoop nearest the screw. Then, when you are ready to tighten it, slip the hoop off the edge of your table or work surface, so you can tighten the screw without raising the hoop away from the table or work surface.
Thank You. I've never done that but it sounds sooo good I definitely with try it !!
