Any idea how to get a spot of iron on adhesive out of velour fabric? I managed to get it on the front of my project, I don't want to put oil on it.

Thank you all for your help. I finally bit the bullet and used eucalyptus oil, but then I had to was the garment but it looks good now.

sounds like you got some good answers, but if it was me I think I'd go with Carolyn's freezer sugg. first.

Let us know if the freezer works! Sounds like the less possibilty of damage.

Throw it in your freezer then when its cold it will pull off great.If i get smoke on anything from you smokers i put my sweater or coat or whatever in the freezer and it kills the smell lol hugs carolyn

What about an ice cube, it works for gum. Should not damage velour. Place cube for a few minutes on spot and then gently rub the glue off. Hope it will help!

another soloution that may help is one drop of "tea tree oil" on a pair of old pantyhosean wipe over glue hope you find your answer....soozie
