My thoughts are with you Karen. I hope that your pain will ease with time. Rest, rest and more rest. Hugs Sarah.
sorry there isn't a way to cure the problems. The only thing I can offer you are my prayers , thoughts, my hugs and support. love G.
OMG. I too am so sorry to hear of your outcome. After having two surgeries myself and still having some issues I share your pain. We all have burdens to bear and I am also a firm believer that the Lord never gives us more than we can take. I hope that you are able to find way to manage the everyday pain soon.
Sorry to hear the disappointing news. I had surgery a year ago for 2 of the disks in my neck, although they found more damaged the neurosurgeon decided it would be to my advantage to at least take care of the two causing me to have severe migraines. It did make the migraines stop, but the nerves they pressed against were permanently damaged leaving my left hand numb and weak. I still deal with pain, and have had to retrain myself to do things differently so that I am not held back. God has seen me through and not a day goes by that he doesn't help me get through it. I've found some aromatherapy bath salts and bath oils at WalMart that ease the pain quite a bit, and I've found that alternating hot and cold on my back and neck offers relief as well. My oldest daughter bought me a chair massager that gives me a back massage when it is stiff from the onset of arthritis pain, and finally my rheumotologist prescribed Diclofenac to keep the swelling down. I was so thankful to my husband and daughters who took it upon themselves to find things to help me with the pain I go through, and I hope you will have the same blessing from those surrounding you in your family. I'll be praying for you. You might want to try some of those things I mentioned above and see if they give you a little relief as well.
Best wishes for your pain management as well as your emotional well-being in dealing with this.
tHERE IS NOTHING I CAN SAY THAT HASN'T ALREADY BEEN SAID,BUT WHEN WE GET TO HEAVEN WE WILL HAVE A FEW QUESTIONS TO ASK HIM ,BUT THEN WE WILL KNOW THE ANSWER THEN TO HUGS CAROLYN
Oh Karen, we are so Blessed to have you as a Cutie. Yes God is in control and He knows exactly what to do. My Prayers are with you girl for strength and in your pain. Hugs & Blessings, Judy
all my sympathy is with you--I've lived with it since my late teens...one surgery that helped tremendously for several yrs, but then old 'arthur' took over. The procedure was called percutaneous diskectomy (sorta micro surgery & back to work next day). But mine was lower back. Don't lose faith. Miracles do happen, you know!
Karen, I am so sorry to hear of this news. Hopefully the PT and pain management will help relieve the pain. I am keeping you in my prayers. Hugs, Mary
Sorry you've received such disappointing news. Will be praying for you.
So sorry to hear this news. Hope and pray that you get some relief.
Sorry to hear this Karen, I will continue to pray. I am sure you can adjust and manage the pain.
Alice.
Karen, get a mindset that you are in the Lord's hands and He and YOU are going to accomplish great things inspite of the diagnosis! Prayers going up from me that you will discover the ways to enjoy each day no matter what the doctors say. The "Great Physician" has a plan for you that will make life meaningful and happy!
Angel
And He never will Karen. god has a reason for everything, of this I am sure. I have seen it time & time again in many peoples lives. I empathize with you. My hubby lives in continuous pain everyday & can do little more than sit & lie around. He does not yet take narcotics but I know one day it will come to that . Pain is so debilitating. I will continue to lift you up to our Lord/Lillian
Sorry to hear the result are not as good as expected! Hope you can find away to deal with the pain! Hugs Sally
Sorry to hear the disappointing news. I shall keep you in my prayers while you learn to cope with the pain. A big hug for you Cindy B.
Yes, God is in control and you can rely on Him. Know that we are thinking and praying for you. I too, have had neck problems. I bought a cervical pillow years ago after the second car accident and my headaches and neck pain only come back every now and then. The pillow helped tremendously!!! Yours sounds much more serious. I'm sure you'll get a second opinion. So many new things coming out every day with the disc.
Sorry to hear the results, but on the other hand you now know what is going on and will handle it from there. I have been told a few times by my Dr. I would "have to learn to live with it" and I figured no way, I'll find a way.
Hopefully, you will find something to help you.
Linda
Gosh this sounds like a no win situation... I understand constant pain. This week I go for some ART threapy stuff which I know little about but others have had success in helping them. One guy I work with has artritis in his spine/back and it got him walking correctly again. Hugs for you Wendi
Karen, I'm sorry to hear this, but it's good to know there is a little relief from the pain with the alternative. Keep trusting God. He will see you through. Remember He doesn't give us anymore than we can bear. We sometimes have to remind ourself that Christ suffered much more than we have. That was a help with me. Hugs, Terre
Daughter has the same problem. Too much damage to be able to do anything. They give her some kind of injections in her spine evefry 6 weeks or so for the pain. Helps a little. And she is on methodone, and a bunch of other hard stuff for pain. She's a walking pharmacy. Know what you're going through. Wish something could be done.
What a disappointing diagnosis for you. Never give up hope as there are amazing breakthroughs made in the medical world everyday.
I am so sorry to hear this! My thoughts and prayers go out to you. I hope you can find alternative methods that bring you comfort.
I am sending hugs from the heart and prayers for a sucessful alternative method of pain releive or reduction comes you way soon!
I am sew sorry to hear this news from you, but you are right God will be there. When one door closes another one opens! I feel your pain & I will continue you to include you in my prayers
The prayers continue dear one. It's really hard when they tell you there is nothing they can do but try to help you manage the pain. I'm in the same boat, so let's row together. God IS the Captain of our vessel. Remember Sweetie, all that happens to us now is only temperary and one day, it won't even come to mind. Please take care of "you" for us. We truely care. Hugs from the heart. ****
