The links below will take you to two sets at Sick and both have designs suitable for men, thought the second set has the better ones, in my opinion.
Both sets are on sale for $1.00 per set.

There is a blank in dbc that you could put something masculine on, or some smiley faces on my site.

loosie, Have you thought about doing some corner bkmks with a nice initial embroided on them. Men are not all that crazy about lace(unless of course we are wearing it) LOL/Lillian

there are several that you could use for a male at this site. Go to free designs then click on the FSL bookmarks and there are birds, leaves, mice, all sorts.

There is one here that is not strictly feminine. It says Books Open our Minds.

Oh thank you! I was going cross eyed looking, as I was searching found some other projects for friends but this bookmark was a priority, school ends this wednesday. I will be off to fun day, and asking what his favourite color is!

I stitched this out this afternoon. My first FSL. Well the needle perforated the wss and cut the bookmark free before I got to the lettering. I probably was using the wrong kind of wss. I even changed to Badgemaster after the loop. I put a 3rd piece of wss on top and taped it down to do the lettering. After it finished I took it out of the hoop and
did a close zig zag down the left side of the bookmark. Needless to say I'm not happy with first try. Will go looking for mesh wss tomorrow. I soaked it and and it is together. I'll use it myself.Maureen

I have used this design twice for son and son-in-law. One in lt. gray w/burgandy letters and one in ecru w/dk. green letters. They both turned out nice looking. I did use some stiffy for FSL to make them extra stiff as the design is a little wimpy with out something. ♥
