I haven't use either of my 3 machines - none of which are multi-needle for months. I can't tell you to do something - when I can't motivate myself.
Hope you feel better now.
Shirlene, I think you have a better excuse than I do. Although some family issues have been distracting me. But the only thing I can do about that is get mad, or not. I think not getting mad and ignoring it is the better option.
Goodness this happens to me alot. Seems I put things off more and more and day dream about what I could/should be doing. Got to have motivation sometimes. You'd better shape up and get to the embroidery machine. They need you, want you, desire you to make something on them. Once you get started they'll be no stopping you for days. No orders? Make something for yourself for a change. :-)
Grabbing your shoulders and shaking you, while yelling "PULL YOURSELF TOGETHER!! WHAT'S WRONG WITH YOU--NOW GET YOUR BUTT IN THERE AND EMBROIDER". Of course, said with love :) Do as I say, not as I do.
you could mail them to me on a loaner basis and i will gladly pay the postage, lol. if they are gone, you certainly would miss them!!!! enough already!!! get back to work!!!
A break for both of you is actually good. Sory no yelling, but a pat on the back for taking a break.
What!! You have not turned them on for a week!!! I have with mine but thats about it, lol! To darn busy playing catch up with the garden, and yard between rains. And not with much luck, so this little bird is how I feel about mother nature right now. Sure wish the rain would stop for about 2 weeks right now!!
LO. Consider yourself yelled at - did it work? Are your machines turned on AND working?
Sometimes we all need help to get motivated.
I wish you a contented and fruitful day.
Alice, the break is probably doing you the world of good. Relax, you will start again soon. You certainly do not need to be yelled at!!! Hugs Sarah.
GggggggRrrrrrrrrrrrr Alice, get off your bu.... and get to work. Is that what you wanted to hear. LOL, LOL. Maybe you need the break. Love Marg
Do you have any orders to get out? If you do shape up and get busy! If you don't enjoy the break but realize it's over. Don't let this go into a second week Alice. Those are my orders and I did not have to yell. But i will if I have too. LOL
Bev
No orders Bev, I always function better when I have more to do. But I have just stitched a little devil face to go on a cape for my daughters hens night. So maybe I have got myself out of my slump.
I think we all go through it every once in a while. I hadn't sewn anything for a while I think burnout sewed to death @ xmas then new baby born Jan started xmas gifts in Feb went into march making a bunch of dresses did curtains for a playroom, stuffed toys, started easter items more dresses that I didn't sew a thing for over a month LOL I have started a mystery quilt last week almost all cut and ready to sew together. Last night went to my sewing group which has been surprised to see me lately ( the last 2 wks) and brought my niece we almost completed those beach bags made of screening.
So not turning on means you needed a break. Look for something different to make it might peak your interest again.
You will find your groove again!!!!
So here's a * to brighten your day
Sometimes you just need a break before being inspired again. Enjoy your weekend and do something for you even if it isn't embroidery.
Ok! Get busy even if you have to clean up your work room. You might find an UFO you could finish. . . . .
