I take photos of most of my things I make. When I have a show, and electricity is available, I have a digital photo frame that sits on my table, and does a slide show of all the things I have done. I've had lots of people just stand by and watch the photos, and have picked up lots of custom orders from it.

One thing, is if you do this, make sure your photo frame is off to one side, so when people are standing there watching they are off to the side so that others can still get up to the table to purchase my items.

Thank you all for the nice comments. I used a real photo album on my table for years, but it took up to much space. I've been sewing, embroidering, and knitting for many years, and have just to many photos for a real album. I like the digital photo frame so much better. Less weight, less space on the table, and much more attractive, someone always stops by to look at it.

I do something similar, Mary Ann. I make soap and have a slideshow of the process of "making soap" that I made one day when making a batch. I have a little DVD player that I will set up in my booth and let it play. People do love it! :)

This is a great tip. I take pictures of my projects also but I have them in a photo album I like your idea of putting them in a digital photo picture frame. Now I have to go and get one for myself. Thanks Cindy B.

My kids got me a photo frame a few years ago when my daughter worked at a Circuit City and that is a great tip. Wonder if you can get a battery pack when there isn't electricity available to your display table.

Mary Ann that is great, I also told my daughter that I will put up my digital photo frame when I do the wedding/gift display for her next photo shoot of wedding gowns for a customer of hers.
Thanks for the tip that the photo frame is off to one side so that others can still view the table goodies.

Hugs Yvonne

That is a good idea. Mike does something similar at craft fairs - he has a laptop running with a slide show which shows how some of the complex items are made. It certainly attracts interest.

What a great idea!! I do not do any shows, but I would like to view my own completed projects in a slide show on those days when I feel that I don't ever get much done. That would be a great morale boost!! Thanks for mentioning it.
