Carolyn, Thanks I have made a few of these and had no problems. I think it was the tear away stab. It has torn on me before. I have the instructions from designsbysick.com. I'll try a heavy stab next time. Maureen
did you hoop the wash cloth? I use tear away on towels so I wouldn't think you couldn't on a wash cloth. I pin my towels.
hope next comes out better, glad you were able to save this one.
Thanks, I have made them before with no problems. I didn't hoop the wash cloth. I used Sulky KK2000 to adhere it to the cloth and pinned the net and wss on top.
I think I am answering you a blit blind because I am not sure what a 'scrubbie' is. Is it made of towelling? If so then I put the plastic stabiliser only on the top of the towelling Works very well for me!! If I am totally off the beaten track then I am sorry :) LOL
You make a scrubbie on a wash cloth out of nylon mesh. You use maybe 8 layers of the net. I was using a heavy duty one and used 6 layers. You have to use a stablizer on the botton for the wash cloth
to be placed on first and then the net and wss. You use this for scrubbing plates and pots and pans in the kitchen.
You must try making one. Place the design in one corner. Maureen
