Hi to all I am wondering if i have moved to stage 2 of my download addiction or is it just a short phase. I seem now to be picky at what I download where before i downloaded everything..... :-)

I'm glad to hear the responses you got.....I though I was going to have to go to confession at the next S.A.D.D. meeting. ;)

I am there now, after getting the membership and dl for days I now can say, "O I don't need that one". So count me in on stage 2.

I am also in stage 2. What forced me there was I am running out of free space on my hard drive. DH is getting me a bigger hard drive. I wonder if I will regress back to stage 1! I hope not because I have enough designs for life!

I've deleted a TON of stuff I've downloaded in the past... and because things are digitized poorly, it has pushed me into wanting to digitize myself. ;-)

I agree with everybody else, eventually you start to get a little picky. I think I'm moving slowly into stage 3 which in my case means going back and deleting the ones I never should have downloaded in the first place I'll bet I'm not the only one with things she wonder why they ever downloaded. But be careful because i just know that someday I'm gonna say "hmm wonder what I did with that ----" and poof it will be gone. The whole point is having fun and as my dh says "Well honey it keeps you off the streets at night!" not sure what he means but I'm having fun. Flower for your worries.

Glad to hear there are only two stages...I was afaid stage 2 was going to be short lived and stage 3 would be a stronger version of stage 1, downloading 24/7, no sleep, not eating, just downloading until I withered away into a digital version of myself! What a relief! After all, it really is tough getting any embroidering done when I'm at the computer downloading designs every free moment.

Nice to know there are stages. I'm definitely in stage 2 as well. Wonder what stage 3 will be, although cutiepie seems to think there are only 2. Flower for you.

Yes, you have reached the "terminal" stage of the addiction. That could either mean that you are stuck at your "terminal" (your monitor) with all that you still want to download, or else that you will be downloading new designs until you die (your own termination), even if you are being more picky about which ones. =] Seriously, this is a stage that everyone seems to get to eventually. It shows that you have become more discerning and now know the good stuff from the junk. Congratulations!
