Sarah - I am just now catching up with some of the postins. I am so sorry, and as parents we worry about our kids. My older daughter lost her job when it was sent to India, but she has gone back to school and is being retrained as a respiratory therapist. My younger daughter works for the shuttle, and as most know the last flight was yesterday. We don't know about her job just yet, or what plans they have for her. She is one of 6 left in her deaprtment, and 2000 more people at the Space Center are going to be losing their jobs in a week or so. She too is a single mom, and has been for 12 years, and made it on her own. We will keep your daughter in our prayers.
Thank you so much for your reply. I am so sorry to hear that your daughter might be in the same boat. Since posting Emma has been to see a labour lawyer and they are both going to her ex office this coming week - mainly to see about her retrenchment package. Thank you for thinking about us. You are in my thoughts as well.

Hi Sarah, so sorry to hear of your Daughters news.
Will keep her and you in my prayers. Hugs Yvonne
Thank you Yvonne. It is a week now and she still has not come to terms with it. I am off to Jhb in a couple of weeks to will be able to spend some time with her.
Life can be so unfair sometimes Sarah. She has my prayers that God will have something for her elsewhere. Her loyalty is on her side./Lillian
So sorry to hear this - I will be praying for her and the children - life is just never what we think it might be - who knows - this might get her to the place that she really is supposed to be.
Sarah, I'm so sorry your daughter lost her job. Will pray God will open doors for her and she will soon have another job. Hugs, Judy
Sarah, I, too will pray for her to find a job soon. All of you tell everyone you know that she is looking...you never know what will show up.Hugs!;)
Oh, I am so sorry! Times are so hard. One of the Universities here will be doing significant layoffs, as they put it.
I will be remembering her in my prayers. May the Lord provide her with a good job very fast... I am sad for her too. Raising teenagers by herself is already a hard thing. Keep us posted
As you say - times are very hard and she was with one of the top banks who are re-
trenching all over the world.
Hoping her much luck in her search for a new job and for a better opportunity for her and her boys.
Sarah so sorry to hear about this. Suppose the future will look bleak but we hope and pray for the best.
Thank you Marthie. I just worry about her as she is not the most stable person but she is holding in there and is seeing her sister today which I am thrilled about.
