Joaniessw I have both those books They are available at our local JoAnns Fabric store. Both are great.
Thank you for the info. I'll try our library.Hope to see her here soon i'm sure she will love it. Funny how embroidery gets people talking.
I purchased a meter of colored organza at 60% off, thanks to seeing anna25775 FSL bookmark with it I had to get some. Then mentioned to her what I was going to do. She said "try", that's when I told her about the bookmark and this group.
Looking forward to seeing her here, Joanie. Thanks for the info on the books, next time I'm at the library, I'm going to ask them if they're interested in buying them. Hugs and a flower to you sweetie, have a terrific day.
And we started talking. I told her about this group and she gave me her e-mail addy to send her this site and the one where I got my snowflake name. She may come join us. Also, she mentioned two books she borrowed from the library so I went and was able to take them out today. You ladies might be interested in: Embroidery Machine Essentials and: More Embroidery Machine Essentials by Jeanine Twigg. They both come with a CD with designs to accompany the books.
The library books sound great.. but if they include a CD, would that not impact upon Copyright law for so many borrowers to copy the designs?
They both are very good books I own them both. Had joined a book club and got them . the same bookclub used to have machine knitting books which is very hard to fine. don't do as much any more right now trying to keep up with machine embroidery.flower to you
