are there any other places affected by the tsunami? so scarey. do hope everyone is safe.

All good here in Taranaki :) Doesn't sound like it is going to affect land at all, just some big sea swells.

They have cancelled the alert, but still are saying very high seas and to stay away from beaches.

Hope you all in New Zealand are safe from the Tsunami. We just heard it on the news about the warning. We'll keep you in our thoughts and prayers.

I heard about the earthquake by an island near New Zealand. I was hoping that there would not be a tsunami warning.

There's a tsunami warning for New Zealand and Tonga after an earthquake near the Kermadec Islands in the South Pacific. Gee, will this stuff ever settle down and stop.

I am wondering the same??

I haven't heard anything, what is going on?
