Have never done that. I think my husband will freak out hehe - he puts up with a lot with my hobbies. imagine there will be little space left for the food.
Thank you about the tip of the tension. I did adjust and it worked great, but the red still kept breaking so my next experiment will be the freezer.
Thank you everyone.
I would think it would be a good idea. It would be on the same principle as putting popcorn kernels in the freezer (not in a frost free freezer) to keep moisture in.
I've done this for years. I've also heard of other things being put in the freezer to put moisture back in so why not thread?!
I've never put mine in the freezer. I keep it in a lidded box and out of the light as much as possible. I read that the freezer dries out the thread more, but I can verify that.If you do it, let us know.;)
I've heard of the tip but have never used it since my thread isn't breaking. I keep my thread in a plastic thread box and out of the light where it can't dry out.
Yes, I've done it often. Especially on some of the dark colors. It works!

Thank you for the the website. This helps and I will try it. Does Brothers PE 750 have a top tension on it? it seems that might be the problem, but I will try the freezer first. I live in New Mexico and my threads might be dried out.
Hi; I would love to read what that website says, but the link does not work. Did the website disappear/changed content or is it not typed correctly?
