I have to share something - no sewing related, but good for our family. My grandsons have both been honored this week. the 15 year old was promoted in ROTC to an Airman 1st, more inside.

So glad you shared your story with us. I know you are beaming and have every right to do so. And I know they are proud of you also as their grandma. Congratulations to you and your family.

I know how you feel dionna. We grandmas have a right to be proud. That's quite an honor especially going to citadel. My youngest G.son was in ROTC all through H.S. & will grad from Auburn next mo. with degree in Aerospace Engineering. You wave a banner for your G son & tell him how proud he makes u.

Thank you so much. The youngest told his mom he would go into the services tomorrow if they would take him. He has been 100% for military since he was quite young - after he decided that he no longer wanted to be the ice cream man. LOL
