Suzanne, I have waited for such a long time. Have more feeling in my feet now, most of the numbness has gone. No real pain but more ache in the feet. Already less pain than the neuromas. Mine was done through the sole as the surgeons said the nerve was easier to access. He said the recovery is long but as I am seated behind a desk at work I am going back after 2 weeks. Sally, thank you. Today I am able to hobble on my heels balancing myself with the crutches. Feel better each day. DH home with me today. My daughters best friend gave me an aquarium she no longer wanted (mine was very small). Rob set it up for me yesterday, so today i have spent time watching my beautiful tropicals in their new home. Other than spending time with my feet up, I have done little else. Tomorrow, DH an I are going to venture out to the pet shop to get more fish. Weather today has been cool with a light misty rain, but as I am inside it has not worried me. hugs. Helen

Alma, thank you. I am feeling better today although uncomfortable in my feet. I am able to go back to work as I am in an office and spend all day on my chair on the computer. Boss said it was Ok to come back in slippers. lol. If I take more time off the bills at work will notbe paid and the paper, data and computer work just piles up. I am well taken care of by my co workers, so will be OK. Weather in Tamworth today has been chilly withlight misty rain. Girls have gone homenow so it istime for a wee nap before dinner. hugs. Helen

Thanks Chris. Time for a wee rest. Daughter has taken the girls out to chop wood for thier fire tonight....Feet had to be redressed, was sposed to wait 2 days but i am feeling 'cleaner' with clean dressings.

Gayle thanks for your encouragement last week. I am Glad the op is over. Little worse than I expected but at least I am home and will get better. My girls are so gentle and caring. Maggies Dad, Rob is bringing us shepherds pie for dinner as my DH is at work and does not cook. Bless his soul, he does do a damn good job helping to keep the house clean tho...

I am truely blessed with my family. AND my furry kids are hanging around as well. Have huge frame in my bed to keep the bedclothes off my feet, so kittens are happy to have a 'playhouse' to sleep in. Thank you for your kind thoughts.hugs Helen
