I don't care how busy the line is I take the receipt and look at it before walking away from the register and the cashier sometimes asks if there is a problem. We live too far from most stores and this has saved us lots of aggravation. It's easier to get the problem solved before you walk out the door.
OOOOOH! That is one of my pet peeves!!!!
I just hate checking the docket when I get home and finding I have been overcharged or there is a piece missing from a DIY assemble item, or the item doesn't work, or they've given you the wrong amount of something, or whatever, whatever.

It is such a hassle going out in the first place without having to go back again because of someone else's incompetence or negligence.
Been there and done that. My best was asking for 90cm of fabric and the shop keeper said you will have to have 1m as I cant work out the price for 90cm! I got 90 cm and told her what the price was. This was to my advantage though. Can you call them to tell them of their error?
Hope the quilt shop is not to far away. I always check my receipts before I leave the store. I will stand there and watch them ring it up to make sure I get the sale price. Drive DH crazy sometimes. Gave him that job once while I went back to get something else. Asked him if it rang up the sales price. He got too busy talking to pay attention. He's just so cute! Heheheh. Carol
