I made these little passport pouches for my younger daughter and youngest GD. They needed something to have their passports with them at all times while they are on mission in Jamaica for the next week. I saw something similar that someone had picked up all ready made at the Hobby Lobby. Well, I did not get over there, and decided to just make one. I used a rick rack embroidery from a design that I had from Five Start Fonts and stitched it at the base of the bag. The zippers came from a jacket my daughter had taken apart when it tore, so she helped me recycle. The material was from something that I had, and is very much like a canvas. I only had to purchase the cord. Easy to do and I think turned out cute. The completed size only measured about 5 x 9.

I carry one with passport in it anytime I travel out of the country. Made mine of denium that had been washed & washed so was so soft. It's been all over the world! Has 2 zipper pockets. Got the instructions from Travel Accessories book by Mary Mulari..I can't spell her last name!!
Your gals will love them & you did a great job!

We thought that too, after they were made - like their I-touch and phones. Maybe they will be used again after the trip.

I was always afraid to carry mine in my purse in case it was stolen. I am sure if I go again, I will have one of these.

They look really nice. Like the variegated thread ziz-zag you did on the one. They will will know which one is their's with the different colored rick rack.

TY - I could not believe that the GD piced the solid blue one - but she got to choose which one she wanted. It will be good for them just to have over their should, and it is not bulky.

Also like you put in a zipper so they stay clean and can't fall out.
