Thank you to everyone who responded to my post of the little girls dress made from 3 linen guest towels. Someone asked where I purchased the towels....I got them from annaboveembroidery.com She carries them in a variety of colors and I prewashed them in cold water thinking they may shrink, but they did not shrink at all. I used WSS stabilizer since the embroidery designs were so delicate. Bobbie
I took a look at the dress you made, it is ADORABLE!! I would like to make some of those, don't guess my two Grandsons would wear them,LOL! Do you buy the towels online at a good price? If so would you mind sharing the website?
Thank you for posting; darling dress and little model, too.

beautiful job! I used to make most of my kids clothes when they were little - I always made my own patterns.
You've done sew good - we expect more now! Have fun creating.
Oh,I love it...to think this is your first work! I had done
many when my twin-girls were that age (now 17) but I am glad
one of them is also interested in sewing/embroidering and so
Isn't it one of the best feelings to look at a finished project and to know you have done it yourself. Keep on - you are so talented. Maria
That is stunning - you've done an awesome job. Love and blessings Chris
P.S. Thanks Capoodle for the web address.
Congratulations the dress is lovely. I have not seen towels like the ones you use, they look to be a excellent quality. Do you have someone to wear the dress
Just had a email from Anna B with a great pic of your dress - congratulations again
Thank you, thank you. I have 4 sets of 6 hemstitched linen napkins I purchased in the Republic of Panama 20 odd yrs ago. Recently looking at them wondering what to do with them. With 2 Great Grand daughters I know now how to put them to good use. Of cours don't know when I'll get to it when I am simultaneously working on 2 queen size quilts along with orders for other things in my current turmoil of life./Lillian
Super work - why don't you take a picture of it and share it in PROJECT and tell us in the description - what you did and where it is from - we would love to see your work - especially the pink one.
What a cute idea. And to think you said you have never made a little girls dress before. You have now. Congratulations!!
Congratulations. Really cute. Your step by step instructions are very easy to follow. Thanks for sharing.
Bobbie, the little dress is just adorable. You did a wonderful job for not having a pattern. Congratulations! Hugs...Carol
