Never been there, but maybe someday. But you're in luck as lani02 has given you probably all the info you need.
Have a wonderful trip!

I have been to Hawaii many times and I took the cruise in 2007. You will have a great time. Suggest you take an extra tote bag for fabric. Each island has fabric stores. In Honolulu and Wakiki look up in the phone book. There are stores name" Fabric Wherehouse, painted yellow in Wakiki, Hilo, Kona, and Maoui. Great fabric store if you get a cab to the mall in Maui. Wonderful quilt/fabric store on Kaui. Take bus from dock to Hilo hati store and then walk about 1/4 mile down the road. The people at Hilo Hatis can direct you. Have a great trip.

Never thought of the yellow pages! Thank you. I intend to make the most of this trip! I care for my husband and after caring for my brother & mother for quite a few years (they are now both deceased), I am looking forward to a great break! In the caring world, they preach to 'look after yourself' so I felt, what better way to do it? Splurge on craft items!! Thanks again. Lyn

I've never been there but I think you good make good use of the yellow pages in the phone book to find sewing and fabric stores. Have a great trip and be sure to check out the beaches and soak up a little sun. Hugs Karen

Thank you! Some warmth would be lovely. We don't get snow, but it is chilly this morning - 4C (39F)so it will be nice, to warnm up the bones for a couple of weeks.
