great makeover! haven't seen tacks like those in years, much less those stools, and you have two!!!
You have something much better made than you can buy today, great job.
They are so,so nice!! They do bring back memories. I loved sitting in the kitchen on my grandmother's kitchen stools and helping her cook. Wow,those were some of the best times! Thanks for sharing.
You did a great job Patsy on these old stools because they look brand new now.....
It's amazing what a little paint and new vinyl and some padding will do. Wish it was that easy for myself to look newer. lol(Maybe a little paint and take away some padding. HeHeHe)
These bring back memories we had a black one. I know I sat on it many times when had company so that company could have a regular chair at the table.

My brother and I sat there for Sunday lunch at Mammaw's. I also have fond memories of sitting with my grandfather and eating vanilla wafers on these stools.
Wow, these are great! I was looking for stools like this last year, great for when your in the kitchen canning, and jamming, now your cooking... and in style too...
Oh...that's funny when I was a little girl my brother and I both called my mom "Honey" (her name was Louise) people thought it was her name and we were odd, with her children calling her by her given name. In reality my dad called my mother Honey and my brother picked it up and then I also picked it up from him...LOL Thanks for the memories.
What a great job.... I remember these from my grandmother's home. You will enjoy these (and also enjoy the memories they keep in your mind.) Thanks for sharing!
Nice job recovering these stools. Could probably not find a sturdier stool to buy these days.
