How do you get a photograph small

Don't mind me saying, but my name is Pat,
the ron111otter belongs to my other half.
I really struggled with that photo, but got there in the end. *4U

The program that downloads your photos from your camera is equipped to reduce the size. It depends on the program, but it will say something like resize or modify. Mine has a shortcut that asks me if I want to reduce if it realizes that I am trying to email, so I then just download to my desktop and I have it.;)

Finally got it, after much hair-pulling !!!

I am trying to put a picture also, the only thing I know is the image have to be jpeg or gif and, for the profil no more than 154kb compare to 3072 kb for the project. The big question is how do we get the picture smaller

I went to the site that the photos go to,
it is called Camedia, and resized it down
until I got it to the required size, and
believe me, I was really surprised when
it was accepted ! Good job they don't
ask for our measurements as well !!*4U

Pat, the web site actually makes it a thumbnail - you only have to have it small enough to be loaded - just like the pictures that you post in the project section - if it will go there - it will more than likely go in your profile. Hope this helps - I will be looking for you soon. *4U
