not right to finish an alpha before starting on the next one? I know some of the older cuties want the new alphas, but I will also vote for it once the ongoing one is done.

I'm guessing there is a problem with the site. I've been seeing the same "bunny b" for a few days. Or maybe my browser is acting up again.

Did not realize the alpha we had been getting was a repeat - wish the new one would have waited another day because the Y is a very handy letter to have! Maybe when this alpha completes votes would be successful to get it for those that did not collect the first time around.

I'm missing letters in several because I am having problems refreshing. I missed the B at amazing. But the new labeling system makes it hard to see what one has, unless i open my software. which for me, is a time consuming process, since I have to start Parallels, then windows, and then my embroidery software.

I don't want to complain cause I am grateful, but I liked the files to have names like alpha so and so even if the name is a number, and the letter it is, like: Alpha-2073-c that way it makes organizing them easier.

I agree the file names are a good tool to help us keep our collections straight. I tend to add the capital letter followed by an underscore in front of the filename when I'm downloading to my PC. If it's one that looks like another such as 'i', then I might name it I-eye_etc. If I forget, I go back through Windows Explorer and rename the file concerned :)

Actually the alph was in the process of repeating - when a new alpha comes out - it comes out through the website - when it is announced - before anyone of us have even seen it - it is there - the voting that you are talking about I am not sure of - however - when it starts it seems that it goes to B and then back to A and then B again - with almost every alpha so far for a long time. I think it is like a warning - HERE is a new alpha! You may have missed the other letters - the biggest share of us - already have them. I do believe that even with the voting process - when a new alph comes out - it will always out vote an older one - because it is new and everyone wants everything that is new. Hehehe!

Only exception seems to be here on CuteEmbroidery. The newest alpha has been outvoted for 15 days now.

Sorry ! the alpha does not outvote the older one on this website - the opposite occurs. This is not because I am losing out (I am a member and have the alphas anyway) I just think that $1.00 per letter missed is not excessive and when I have not been a member then I have bought my missing letters for possible two alphas in order to reach the minimum order. I know that a lot of our members are not able to afford this but, equally sure that a lot can !

Yes, I agree with what GreySewist said, that alphabet had been given before. Also, please remember that a lot of people go to vote for those letters at Amazing and at Cute Alphabets that never never come here to the Cute Embroidery community, so it's not just the Cuties who are responsible for the vote. When I saw that one of the letters had over 400 votes, I had to laugh--there sure aren't that many Cuties! So sorry you didn't get the rest of your letters, but hang in there, they might get voted for after this new alphabet. Or, if you really need them, they are pretty inexpensive to purchase. There's a $5 minimum at Amazing, I think, so wait till you need 5 letters and go for it, or else Cuties can help you vote later. No amount of voting here will overcome the new alphabet, though, I can tell you that from long experience. Good luck to you, and hugs, Marji

The recent alpha was a repeat, I believe, so many people were probably in a hurry to 'move on' :) I have A, B & C of the new one, so they have all been up. It's very easy (for me) to be distracted and miss a letter here and there. Luckily not that expensive to make up the missing letters by buying them, or to live in hope and vote them in with others at the end:)
