poppet , I use a card with an Ultimate box. I am not sure but it sounds like maybe you were trying to load a design that was to big. Mine shows up on the screen of my Ultimate box before I go to the machine. Hope you figure it out. A flower for you.

Please provide more info Poppet, this is insufficient to be able to advise you. FAT16 or FAT32 is a type of card format but I would need to know which type of card? New or pre-used, have you used this card for designs before. What is your machine and which program are you using? You can write me at Rubadub_bub@yahoo.com.au if you like and I will try to assist you. roses, M

Poppet, I don't use cards because my machine uses flashdrives, but, my thought is that the same would apply. I find that the constant saving, moving and deleting to and from the flash *messes* (for want of a better word!) the flash up, and I'm likely to have the same problem as you. If, every now and then, I reformat the flash, I don't have that problem. Having said that, and if that is your problem, I hope you don't have any designs on that card that you don't have backed-up, because ***reformatting will wipe the card completely clean***. If you do have designs on it, see if you can save them using a card reader, or whatever you use. If I was you, I'd wait and see what everyone else thinks before reformatting, just incase someone has a better idea. Hope this helps sweetie, hugs and a flower for you.

Whenever I get an error message on my card it usually means the design is too large.
