Thank you for the translation! I got this design back in March at OregonPatchworks. Here is the link (I hope). I am so happy to finally contribute something to this great group. Hugs, Cece
That's a beautiful design, shuede, and I really like the kanji translation. Do you know if the design is still available and would you mind sharing where you found it, please?
I'd love to buy it and use it in the corner of DHDon's quilt.
AlmaG.
This was a freebie, but I can't remember where I got it. There is no information in the file. If I figure out where it came from, I'll let you know. Denise
Dear Denise, Shirlene sent me an email about this post, and I came here to see :)
The meaning for those kanji is Eternal Love.
Love and hugs,
Yoriko
I already sent a PM reply, but thanks again, Yoriko! I think this will work nicely in my project. Denise
Shuede, I've put a link here to a tutorial I wrote about sending Private Messages. You can add photos and links in PM's just like you can here in the community. PM Yoriko, I don't know how likely she is to see this post. Good luck, hugs, Marji
Marji, I did try to upload the picture to Yoriko after your last suggestion. For some reason, even though I reduced the photo, I only see a red "X" in a box. In the past, that usually happened when the resolution was too high.
Thanks for your explanation. Denise
Lately it takes a while before the picture will appear. If the picture is small enough and in Jpeg format it will open. Just takes a little time.
That happens with PMs, but once you leave the page and return a while later you'll see it's there.
It is lovely - where did you get the design from?
Thanks for also sending a PM to Yoriko. I think she got your PM before mine. (See above reply re where design came from.)
I love the heart design and since it is all in one color, maybe you could stop your machine and add your own words like Marji said below, that is what I would do if I had this heart....it is so pretty.....good luck....
think I googled the Kanji alphabet once and I guess it is still there so maybe you can figure it out....
My, that's pretty. It looks like Japanese kanji, so if all else fails, you might try PMing Manami. That's our dear Cutie Yoriko, who has the lovely mygardened website. She might be able to tell you. Depending on the way the design is digitized, you may be able to use just the heart without the words, or delete them and add your own in English. Good luck, hugs, Marji
I thought of Yoriko, too. I was hoping she would see this. I wasn't sure how to PM her with a photo. Thanks!
Can you tell us which design you are referring to? Then perhaps someone can help. Sarah.
Having trouble uploading the picture. I'll see if I can figure out why.
