I love this idea, Have bought the paper and soda ash from Coles supermarket in Tamworth. I see the black ink design, have you tried with colours and how did it go? hugs Helen
Helen.
look in the projects and you will find a small quilt that was printed out and then sewn the colours are nice and clean. so no problem with it. just make sure you have at least one inch header before the fabric and that NO LOOSE THREADS ARE HANGING TO CATCH THE ROLLERS. I USED A ROLLER BLADE TO MAKE A CLEAN CUT EDGE.
any problems or if you need more help then PM me
Must try this. I already have the washing soda as I plan to make laundry soap.

I am glad you showed this also. I went and bought the washing soda yesterday and want to try this. You can't find it everywhere now. I did go to the site you reccomended also, thanks.
Here is the link for those of you who were wondering what this was about. Very clever indeed! Thanks for sharing!

The fabric you've made is lovely. It's always delightful to experiment too. Thanks for sharing your work.:~D
Annie, this looks incredible. I admire you for trying something like this.
