Hi Iris, Ruthie answered your question I see. I think the statement you made about the Futura requiring vector images has to do with digitizing, like she suggested... did it come with software to digitize? Ruthie is correct in that Singer machines use "xxx" format. Ruthie, I'm glad you were there for our friend. On the weekends, it's hit and miss to whether I'm around. Iris, you're in wonderful hands with Ruthie's answer. xoxo to you both.
Iris, I'm not simplyrosie but I'm going to answer anyway. A wmf file is not a machine format, it is a graphics file. So are you trying to digitise? If you are, then when you have finished, you will need to convert it to a suitable format, for the Futura I would do a *xxx* file. The Futura is capable of using *most* embroidery formats, but the main format for that machine is xxx. Hope this helps iris, if you need more help, just yell. Hugs and a flower sweetie.
Thank you ruthie for your explanation but it wan't me asking, I asked this question for believer 51 and thought that simplyrosie knew the answer. But you are so good in aswering this. Love and hugs and of course your well deserved flower, thanks again
Can't answer your question but I'm sure somebody will come along soon and help you just hang in there. In the mean time here's a flower for asking the question. good luck dear
