if you contact yahoo they can restore your emails as long as it is not more than 24 hours since they disappeared, but I think it restore to when they disappeared and you may lose more recent ones.
You should try contacting them.

That was the first thing I did.

Is this the new yahoo that they changed to? My sister-in-law hates the new version. I still have not changed over but they just emailed me & I have not opened it but think they will just switch me over. If I don't like it I guess I will open a Hotmail acct. I get free MSN with my Internet Service but don't like it very much either. I liked yahoo because it seem to be very user friendly but don't know about the new version. Sister-in-law says when she goes to email someone it pulls up all contacts even ones she deleted yrs ago. Does anyone else have this problem??

I have three yahoo accounts - I hardly dare look now!

Wow that must be a lot to keep tract of having 3 accts. That would drive me nuts...but I can see how it would also benefit one to use each acct for different purposes. Personal emails...business....etc.

I have 3 accounts also, trying to close one of them, but this was not the one I wanted to close.

Yahoo must be having a problem because I lost most of my emails too. Very frustrating! Nanc

I sent an e-mail and they will try to retrieve my e-mails, but no garuntee I'll get the important ones back. They can keep the junk, lol!

They went to the trash and when I went to retrieve them they disappeared from there too!! Thats why I am so frustrated.

That happened to me the other day, all my emails just disappeared and I was dumbfounded. But after I shut down and re-opened my browser I found all my emails were still there. Must have been some internet mystery problem, I was having a lot of trouble with pictures and pages.

Maybe yours have only gone into hiding too.

Scary....don't mind the junk mails going bye bye....but personal emails & embroidery stuff oh Lordy.
