what i hope to do is still have a 5x7 design but do it in sections by re-hooping, but i have to chop the design down to do it...

You can also use the software - my editor (wings). It will show you object by object. You can then "cut" the objects you do not want to stitch. I use the purchased Wings module, and have done this before, but I know there is a free version available. Try the following website - http://www.wingsxp.com/index.php/... Hope this helps.

You can do it in Embird, try it out with the free trial - you won't be able to save the design but can play with the program for 30 days and discover its possibilities.

thank you Mops, i will look into it, i have been thinking of digitizing myself but haven't decided on a program yet...
