Beautiful dress Don't understand the "dedication". Are the children then baptised as adults? or not at all?
Just curious. Good luck and happy memories on the dayHugs

What a beautiful dress, I love the old lace and the designs you used. What a nice gift this is!
Beautiful! Congratulations on you upcoming granddaughter, what a lovely way to welcome a little one.
Congratulations on the pending birth of your grand daughter. Made by you using your mother's fabric insertion ~ it just couldn't get any more special.
What a beautiful dress. It is wonderful that you included something from the past. Joining the generations together. Cindy B.
By the way, my daughter goes to church with Martha Pullen. I'd like to get a picture of her & the baby...but I have soooo many "hidden" mistakes I hope she doesn't look very closely at the dress!! Dedication is in Nov., so it'll be awhile before we have a picture of baby IN the dress!
This baby dress is so lovely& glad you shared your family sewing heritage too. I'm sure this will be enjoyed as a treasured heirloom. Thanks for sharing your work& God's blessings.:~D
This is a beautiful little dress and granny would be very pleased to see the great grand in this dress....
keep passing it on, as it is timeless.....
Do you know our family? My kids called my mom Granny!! And the little ones call me granny, even if I am too young? Hee hee!! We will be passing it on to other generations. Tks for the comments!
It is absolutly fabulous! What a great keepsake for your grand daughter.
Gerry, this is really lovely - I would love to see the baby in it - later one, too. How touching to use the lace that your mom left, too.
you did a beautiful job.. this will be an heirloom in the family
The embroidery came out so nice, as well as the dress. I love Martha Pullens designs. Good Job_Toogie
