This is where I buy all of my zippers. Great prices and great service, plus they send you coupons for free shipping!!
i bought a large box at a yard sale for a dollar also try the thrift stores carolyn
Like DlonnaHawkins, I too use ZipIt from Etsy. They have a huge selection, great prices, and OUTSTANDING service.
E BAY ... E BAY I had 100. 6 inch zips assorted colours for about 10p each.
i no longer go to shops for zips simply because one 6 inch zip in a local shop will cost me 90p addon the cost of the fuel to get to town and it soon mounts up. plus i have the bonus that with that amount of zips i can afford to give the finished item to charity and so help them to raise money. I have never yet been disapointed with any of the zips. in fact one seller asked if i would like some longer zips that the end had freyed on for free. Does a duck quack???. can't imagine a local shop giving them away like that. annie in the uk
Hi, I picked up 4 zippers for a dollar at one of the dollar stores. They were on a card, and had a choice of either dark colors, or pastels. 25 cents is pretty reasonable for me!
I, too, use Home Sew. They have been in busy at least 40+ yrs as I've been using them almost that long!! I order the zippers in quantity & they are VERY reasonable & a good selections of colors. They do have a web site & an 800 number you can call & ask for a catalog to be sent to you. There's a coupon in the current catalog for $2 off shipping. I am assuming you live in the US. Good luck!
i use the zipper assortment from homesew. they very reasonable & you get different colors.

I think you should go over to the site below and take a look. I have purchased twice from this site, and love them. After paying close to $2 a zipper at JoAnn's I had to do something. So, a friend and I went together, and got 100 for close to .35 cents each. Couldn't beat that. And take a look at her zipper pulls - the girls in our sit and sew love them.
I got some zippers from a place called zipperstop. We sent material to them and they sent back zippers to match. Also, they use to be on ebay. I don't know how to make a link. I hope that helps.
go to ebay and to the zipperstop. I got 100 zippers for ten dollars and 8 dollars to ship. They were sent out the same day. Another option is the tape measure closures, the snappy bags use a very cheap tape measure .
You could try using Velcro fastening instead - easier and quicker to stitch on than zips.
I was going to suggest recyclying them from old clothes. However I checked out the prices at homesew.com and they look great. I'm going to give them a try. *4u for asking this question.
Maybe try, the two links that I will try to post, if not , I'll just put them in another comment.I have bought supplies here b/4 but not zippers-Toogie..ps I do think these are the same bussinesses
If you order from either one of the above companies as a business, you get a real decent discount. It used to be 25% off $100, but I think you have to spend a bit more now. They are sister companies. I order from both. They also have fantastic deals on bulk needles, FYI.
The Newarkdressmaker link did not work, however I bookmarked homesew. Their zipper prices are great.
